Public Association "Legal clinic Comrat" informs that since February 10, 2022 it has launched a project "NEET Youth Support in Gagauzia".

(NEET youth (Not in Education, Employment or Training) is a generation of young people, who due to various factors of economic, social or political nature, are currently unemployed, not in education or involved in any type of training)

 Project goal: To contribute to the empowerment of young people in the category NEET, living on the territory of the ATU Gagauzia by studying their needs and based on these needs it will elaborate a complex Program of socio-economic support and involvement of young people NEET in the region.

The project duration is 10.02.2022 - 09.02.2023.

The following activities will be carried out under the project:

Organize and conduct sociological research on the territory of ATU Gagauzia to identify the actual situation and needs of young people NEET.
A report will be drawn up based on the results of the sociological study, which will be later presented to the public.
A "Program for NEET youth support and involvement in social-economic life of the autonomy" has been drawn up.
The main aim of the Program is to search for new ways to support the young people to participate in the socio-economic life of the autonomy.

For making the program there will be organized a group of experts- specialists, which will take part in elaboration of the program and later will present it to the youth, community and regional authorities.

The project is financed by European Union and co-financed by Sweden. The project is implemented by East Europe Foundation in partnership with the National Youth Council of Moldova, the Development Partnership Center and the Regional Development Agency.
