The number of citizens informed about social benefits is growing

The organization "Legal Clinic Comrat" continues to inform residents of Gagauzia about the social benefits that exist in Moldova and the conditions under which they are granted. More than 20 residents of Dezghinja and Budjac villages participated in another information meeting on this topic.

Experts from the "Comrat Legal Clinic" explained in detail what social benefits are and for which categories of Moldovan citizens they are provided.

The residents present were actively interested in the types of social benefits and what documents are needed to receive the benefits.

According to Natalia Baurculu, chairwoman of the Comrat Legal Clinic, such events will continue in order to help as many people as possible, potential beneficiaries of the project.

"The information meetings held earlier showed that the population needs such events. Not everyone has the opportunity to go to lawyers, to understand the list of documents. Therefore, we are glad that we cover important topics for the population", said Natalia Baurchulu.

The events are held within the project "Protection of rights of vulnerable and marginalized people living in ATU Gagauzia". The project is implemented by the Public Association "Legal Clinic Comrat", as a beneficiary organization of the UNDP Moldova Project "Improving Efficiency and Access to Justice in Moldova", implemented in partnership with the Penal Reform Institute with financial support from Sweden.
